US Announced a 25% Tariff on Imports Worth US$50 Billion of Chinese Commodities, China Fought Back

The United States officially announced on June 15 that it would impose a 25% tariff on the imports worth nearly US$50 billion from China. China announced on June 16 and decided to impose a 25% tariff on the 659 imported items worth nearly US$50 billion from the U.S. China will impose tariffs on the 545 items (worth around US$34 billion) including agricultural products starting on July 6 and will announce the time to impose tariffs on other commodities separately.
