Fertilizer Imports in October

By CnAgri2012-12-03 10:14:07 Print     China’s MOP imports registered 334,000 MT in October, 5.7% more than the month before but 44.8% less than the same period of last year. Of the total, 168,000 MT were imported by border trade, about half of the total imports. MOP import price was $451/MT (CIF) in October, slightly lower than both the month before and the same period of last year.
 
    SOP imports were 10,000 MT in October, 54% less than the month before but 3.9% more than the same period of last year.
 
    NPK imports were 75,000 MT in October, parallel to the same period of last year. NPK import price was $646/MT (CIF) in October, up 12.3% over the month before and up 11.6% on the year-on-year basis.
 
    MOP, SOP and NPK imports registered 5.911 million MT, 144,000 MT and 1.194 million MT respectively in January ~ October, exceeding the same period of last year by 9.9%, 28.7% and 47.2% respectively.
