Asian Largest Sugar Refinery Center Being Set up in Lingang, Tianjin, Annual Production to Be 1.5 Million Tons

Shanggu (Tianjin) Investment Co., Ltd. and the Administrative Commission of Lingang Economic Zone, Tianjin signed an agreement on investment. The company shall set up Asian largest sugar refinery project in the zone.

It was learnt the budget for the project is 6.5 billion yuan and land occupation shall be 1 million square meters. Kicking off of construction shall be before March 2013 and the project is projected to be set up and put into operation by the end of March in 2015. When in operation, the project is foreseen to be able to produce 1.5 million tons of refined sugar per year, the annual output value shall be about 10 billion yuan and the annual tax shall be about 1 billion yuan.
