Fertilizer Price Trends

UREA:  this week urea price was in consolidation stage before the start of slack season storage market. Though market trend was still down, its down space is small. it is predicted a slight rebound shall occur around late November, when the winter storage market is beginning. (Figure 1)

ABC: this week ABC retail price is still around RMB680Yuan/MT, basically the same compared with last week, but down 8% compared with the same week last month. (Figure 2)

DAP: this week DAP price receded from a high level and grew later from a low level. Meanwhile, the average operating rate of DAP production equipments recovered close to 60% all over the country. what’s more, some manufacturers in SW who stopped producing and did maintenance started to produce. (Figure 3)

NPK: this week NPK market had fewer turnovers. Most NPK manufacturers had no clear quotation. Instead they decided the price when they had a order and the price was slight decreased. (Figure 4)

 MOP: the price of MOP kept stable this week. There was no clear outlook for big import contract and border trade orders in Nov have been signed with a turnover of 100,000M, which had limited influence in domestic market. (Figure 5)

SOP: the SOP price was stable at a low level this week. the mainstream price was RMB3,000 to 5,000Yuan/M, down 15% compared with the same week last month. (Figure 6)
