Fertilizer Price Trends Affected by the Start of Winter Storage Market

ABC: this week ABC retail price is around RMB660Yuan/MT, down 10Yuan compared with last week, down 12% compared with last year. (Figure 2)
 
DAP: supply and demand of DAP was slightly tight with the expansion of winter storage and dramatic decline of equipment capacity utilization in some producing enterprises as for maintenance. DAP price increased RMB10-20/MT this week. (Figure 3)
 
NPK: with the start of winter storage market, both production and sale condition of NPK turned good this week. Most manufacturers have published winter storage floor price and buyout price was still unclear. Therefore, it is still hard for NPK price to go up. (Figure 4)
 
MOP: MOP import negotiation future was still gloomy this week. Port inventory was above 1.5millionMT though decreased. Imports quantity from border trade reached 168,000MT, pressing domestic price. It is predicted MOP price shall go on keeping down. (Figure 5)
 
SOP: Influenced by purchasing bid of Yunnan Tobacco Company, SOP price rebounded slightly. The main advantages this bid brought to SOP market were reducing stock and stabilizing price. Possibility of further rebound is less. (Figure 6)
