Official opening of the new facilities and headquarter of FUTURECO BIOSCIENCE

On July 4th, 2012, the General Director for the Industry of Catalunya (Spain), Mr. Joan Sureda, headed the opening ceremony of the new facilities and headquarter of the company in Olèrdola (Barcelona region).

The new headquarter represents an investment of 1.5 million euros and it is a clear demonstration of the commitment of FUTURECO BIOSCIENCE with the R&D of new products and the pursuit of new International Markets.

With a capacity of 2,300 sqm, the new facilities allow FUTURECO BIOSCIENCE to triple its production capacity and multiply by 4 the size of the R&D area, key factor in the Biotech business sector nowadays.

Dedicated to the production of Biofertilizers and Biopesticides, since its creation in 1993 the company has focused on the International Market which currently represents the 90% of its sales and explains the presence of the products in more than 25 countries. The aim of FUTURECO BIOSCIENCE is to grow in the market of Biopesticides and get in four years a 35% share of its turnover from this business line.
