Isagro USA received approval from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the California Department of Pesticide Regulation for the use of METTLE® 125 ME fungicide on strawberry.

METTLE (tetraconazole) provides growers with effective, long lasting control of powdery mildew.

Tetraconazole, a Fungicide Resistance Action Committee (FRAC) Group 3, is a new generation triazole for strawberry and is unlike any other fungicide on the market.

"With best in class systemic action and rapid uptake; METTLE controls powdery mildew in both preventive (pre-infection) and curative (post-infection) applications when disease symptoms are not yet visible. METTLE also provides residual protection of new plant tissues that emerge after application for longer lasting control," said Dr. Alan Haack, METTLE Development Specialist, Isagro USA. "We are excited to offer strawberry growers a powerful new tool for protecting their crop against devastating diseases while maximizing yield."

State registrations, specific crops and/or pest uses may still be pending in certain states. Check with your state regulatory agency or crop protection advisor or an Isagro USA representative for registration status.
