AEM's 'I Make America' Campaign Honored

ASAE, the Center for Association Leadership, has selected the Association of Equipment Manufacturers to receive a Power of A Silver Award for its successful 'I Make America' national grassroots campaign. The Power of A awards recognize the essential contributions of associations to a stronger America and world.

The Silver Award is the third highest level of recognition in the ASAE Power of A program. AEM won in the category "Power to Enrich Lives."

The ASAE recognition would not be possible without the help of AEM's member companies, like-minded associations, and American businesses, citizens and local officials. The I Make America campaign has been successful in telling the story of how manufacturing positively affects the national economy and in advocating for more pro-manufacturing policies.

I Make America has led several grassroots programs, including helping member companies host elected officials at the local, state and federal level to raise awareness and help create jobs for American manufacturers.

AEM member companies have been vital to the success of I Make America, and AEM encourages continued participation to help strengthen the campaign's advocacy message for the benefit of all members and the industry.
