Zhang Taolin meets with CIP COO David Theriault

Vice Minister Zhang Taolin met with Chief Operating Officer of International Potato Center, David Theriault, and his delegation on Sep.20th, 2012.

Zhang briefed Theriault about the latest developments in the preparation of CIP-China Center for the Asia Pacific Region(CCCAP) and efforts made by the Chinese side. He also explained issues concerning the registration of legal entity and land for the construction of CCCAP.

Theriault spoke highly of China's contribution to the CCCAP,and hoped that CCCAP can be launched at an early date through the joint efforts of the two sides.

Officials from MOA Department of Development Planning, Department of International Cooperation, Department of Science, Technology and Education, and Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences attended the meeting.
