INCOTEC South Africa has recently relocated to a new facility in Pietermaritzburg in the KwaZulu Natal Midlands. This new location houses both the production and laboratory facilities. The internationally accredited Analytical Services laboratory is state-of-the-art and the production hall is fitted with a high capacity blending plant with preparations being made to extend the product portfolio to service a wider market segment.

Until now, INCOTEC South Africa had been focusing mainly on film coating and analytical services but before the end of 2012 the facility will be providing three new technologies: upgrading, pelleting and encrusting with priming to follow shortly after that. Presently, several trials are running involving INCOTEC's newest technology – the application of actives and additives.

INCOTEC South Africa has made steady progress since 2008 when it first opened its doors in the quiet suburb of Ashburton. With one employee in 2008, the company can now boast a team of eight dedicated employees and an established facility providing a range of innovative technologies and products to Sub-Sahara Africa. Remaining close to its customers and in touch with the specific problems facing traders and growers in Africa, INCOTEC South Africa sees plenty of opportunity to maintain steady growth and become a major player on the African continent.
