China-Hungary Center on Agricultural Science and Technology Cooperation unveiling ceremony held in I

The Unveiling Ceremony of China-Hungary Center on Agricultural Science and Technology Cooperation was held in the Inner Mongolia Academy of Agricultural & Animal Husbandry Sciences on Oct. 19th, 2012.

 

Mr. Zsolt V. Németh, State Secretary of Hungarian Ministry of Rural Development, Mr. Bai Xiangqun, Vice Chairman of the People's Government of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and Mr. Wang Ying, Director-General of the MOA Department of International Cooperation attended and addressed the event.

 

China and Hungary have enjoyed a long history of agricultural cooperation,and this cooperation has kept steady growth particularly since the establishment of China-Hungary Agricultural Cooperation Working Group in 2006.

 

During his official visit to Hungary in May this year,Chinese Vice Premier Li Keqiang and Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban witnessed the signing of the MOU on the establishment of China-Hungary Center on Agricultural Science and Technology Cooperation. The Center is a concrete result out of the MOU, and will lay a sound foundation for expanding and deepening agricultural S&T cooperation between China and Hungary.

 

 

 

After the unveiling ceremony, representatives from the Inner Mongolia Academy of Agricultural & Animal Husbandry Sciences and Szent István University of Hungary signed an agreement on science and technology cooperation.

 

Under the framework of the Agreement, both Parties shall strengthen communication in cooperative projects,technology transfer and human resources development, and actively promote the cooperation in germplasm exchange, animal farming and agricultural machinery.
