The overall trend of spot price for sugar stop falling stabilization. The average spot price for white granulated sugar was 5,500.0 yuan/ton in August, down 1.39% from the 5,577.6 yuan/ton in July, or 5.19% lower than the 5,500.7 yuan/ton in same period last year. The spot price had been 5,410.0 yuan/ton in Nanning till August 31^th, up 110 yuan/ton than July.
