Grain Purchasing Price Kept Steady

    By Oct 25, total volume of middle-late season rice in 12 areas (including Jiangsu, Anhui, Fujian, Jiangxi, Hubei, Hunan, Guangdong, Guangxi, Chongqing, Sichuan, Huizhou, Yunnan etc.) was 6.154 million MT in 2012 and increased 0.4270 million MT compared to the same period last year. State-owned enterprises purchased 2.298 million MT, 37% of the total volume, up 0.3625 MT and 8% compared with previous year.

    The purchasing price was basically stable according to the supervision with RMB130-135Yuan per 50kg.

    The total volume of paddy in 2012 is 14.929 million MT by now and state-owned enterprises purchased 8.168 million MT, 54.71% of the total volume. The total volume of grains is 71.8815 million MT, and state-owned enterprises purchased 45.1995 million MT, up 0.1025 MT and 3.4775 MT respectively compared with last year. The purchased volume of state-owned enterprises was 62.88% of the total volume.
