Most grapes produced in China are sold at home. In 2011, 106,500 ton grapes were exported, of which 89,900 ton were exported to Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia and Russia, accounting for 84.49%. China grape import is growing. 122,900 ton grapes were imported in 2011, up by 50.36%.

With the development of living and transfer of consumption concept, grape processed products such as wine, grape juice become more and more popular, especially green processed products, and demand for grape will increase too. To meet the demand from domestic and oversea market, China should build industrialized production and operation for grape processing and wine brewing, so as to improve the industry.
