The Quantity of Fruits Exported to Southern Asia Continued to Grow
By CnAgri2013-08-06 14:20:01 Print In 2012, the quantity of Gansu exported apple and Zaosu pear through Tibet to Southern Asia reached 90,000 tons and the sales revenue reached 468 million yuan, of which, 87,000 tons of apple and 3000 tons of Zaosu pears. The varieties of exported apples include low end varieties such as Qinguan and Hongxing. 45% of the apples are from Gansu. The exported volume amounted to 39,2000 tons. The rest of apples are from Shaanxi, Shanxi and Ningxia, which is about 47,800 tons. By the end of 2012, southern Asian lateral traders who are major Sichuan traders basically build apple export distribution center mainly at Jingning, which covers the business in Shaaxi, Shanxi, Gansu and Ningxia.From “China Fruit &Vegetable Market Monthly Report”
