Agroasa introducing new product to control the Black Sigatoka

China Agriculture Report By CnAgri2012-09-06 01:20:11China Agriculture Report Print The last quarter of 2012, Dominican company Agroasa is introducing a very innovative product. Nacillus, a fungicide-bactericide, is implemented to control the Black Sigatoka fungus.

Nacillus can be used in all types of crops such as vegetables, fruits and ornamental plants. "Nacillus allows organic and traditional growers to combat different pests with a product that has the potency of a chemical, but with zero safety traceability, which allows you to export by meeting the export requirements." Abel says.

For now, Agroasa distributes its products nationwide. The company hopes that in the next two years it will start local production of bio pesticides. After this breakthrough, the company expects in the future to export their product to the Caribbean Islands and Central America.
