Lier Chemical to receive subsidies for glufosinate-ammonium project

Chinese agrochemical company Lier Chemical will receive a government subsidy of Yuan 7.5 million for its 600 tons/year active ingredient project of glufosinate-ammonium for upgrading its techniques. This lot of subsidy is mainly used for procurement and installation of the equipments.

Lier Chemical is mainly engaged in R&D, production and sale of chloropyridine herbicides. Lier Chemical told Agropages, the company has been granted the registration approval for technical glufosinate-ammonium by ICAMA in May, 2011. The ongoing technique upgrading is for further improving the stability of the product quality. For the moment, a small amount of quantities are produced by Lier Chemical, which are only available for domestic market.
