Coffee Import Volume in August Increased 22.73% Month on Month

The import of coffee with theine and without roasting was 4,563 tons in August 2012, up 22.73% from the previous month; valuing 10,669,000 US dollars, up 7.56% from the previous month; the average CIF price was 2,338 US dollars/ton, down 12.36% from the previous month. From January to August in 2012, the total import of coffee with theine and without roasting stood at 25,803 tons, down 13.63% year on year; the import volume registered 63,964,000 US dollars, down 9.69% year on year.
