Oprah Winfrey to Release Line of Organic Products

Oprah Winfrey is planning to release a line of organic food items and various other products. In recognition of these efforts, Massage School San Diego, a supporter of raw organic foods, raw cacao, healthy living and massage therapy schools in San Diego, has honored the long-time talk show host with its "step forward" pick of the week award.

According to Forbes, Oprah Winfrey has filed for patenting and trademarking for several organic product line names: "Oprah's Organics," "Oprah's Harvest" and "Oprah's Farm." The lines will include a variety of food items, beauty products and more.

Some of the planned food products include salad dressing, frozen vegetables, soups, dips and sauces. Beauty items will include soaps, shower gels, massage oils, skin care products, lotions and hair sprays. These products will been grown and distributed throughout Maui, Hawaii, according to a spokesperson for Oprah.

Forbes is a business magazine distributed every two weeks in the United States. The magazine focuses on finance, investing and marketing and is headquartered in New York City.
