On April 23rd, the farmgate price of eggs was 8.47 RMB/kg, up 12.09% from last week; at the major egg wholesale markets of the 36 medium-and-large sized cities, the average price of fresh eggs was 8.73 RMB/kg, up 2.46% from last week
 
During the past week, ratio between egg price and corn price was 2.88 and ratio between egg price and feed price was 2.56 In this week, eggs per kilogram (excluding chicken) earn 0.92 yuan/kg, the benefit of layer breeding increased 0.93 yuan/kg compared with last week.
