Pig prices in January

The average price of hog was 33.53 yuan/kg nationwide, increasing by 5.46% month on month and decreasing by 1.43% year on year. Piglet prices were 86.77 yuan/kg, increasing by 6.64% month on month and increasing by 13.85% year on year. Wholesale prices were 47.09 yuan/kg, increasing by 2.43% month on month and decreasing by 9.80% year on year respectively.
The prices of compound feed for fattening pigs were 3.46 yuan/kg, increasing by 2.37% month on month respectively, increasing by 12.70% year on year respectively.
