On March 13, a cargo ship loaded with 4,512 cubic meters of Russian timber docked at Dalian Changxingdao Port. This is the first Russian rough wood ship received at the port by Dalian Zhonglin Investment Co., Ltd. In the future, Changxingdao Economic Zone will import 1 million cubic meters of logs every year.
By March 15, Zhonglin Xinminzhou Port had received 21 vessels, unloaded timber of 637,000 cubic meters and completed truck and ship loading of 333,000 cubic meters.
On March 16, two returning freight trains, Zhengzhou-Europe and Chongqing-Europe, full of Russian spruce entered Suifenhe Port. The returned freight trains departed respectively from Ussuriysk and Khabarovsk, Russia, and finally arrived at Putian Town, Zhengzhou City and Yuzui Town, Chongqing City through Suifenhe Port. The trains carried 176 standard containers, with a total weight of 2,274.1 tons and a value of 313,000 USD.
