Corn Alcohol Companies Turned Profit into Loss, and the Operating Rates Descended

(1) Corn Alcohol Prices Dropped by 6.6% from Last Month
 
Along with a fall in demand for medical alcohol and a weak demand for other alcohol products but an increasing supply, alcohol prices kept falling.The average price of corn alcohol in March was RMB 5,130/MT, down 6.6% or RMB 360/MT than last month. At the end of March, corn alcohol quotations ranged at RMB 4,700-4,800/MT in the northeast such as Heilongjiang and Jilin, with a month-on-month drop of RMB 300-400/MT; the quotations in north China and Huang-Huai Region fluctuated at RMB 5,100-5,250/MT, with a month-on-month drop of RMB 200-300/MT.
