World Peanut Production in 2012
By CnAgri2013-04-24 10:53:53 Print World peanut production was estimated to be 35.367 million MT in 2011/2012, a drop of 2% on the year-on-year basis. The top three producers were China, India and the USA, whose peanut production was estimated to be 16.046 million MT, 5.5 million MT and 1.66 million MT respectively, accounting for 45%, 16% and 5% of the world’s total respectively. BOABC anticipates a peanut production of 37.196 million MT in the world in 2012/2013, about 5% more than last year.From “China Oil and Oilseeds Market Weekly Report”
