According to the Fortune Global 500 issued on July 9, COFCO ranks 393 with a sales revenue of $28.189 billion and a profit of $728.5 million. The twenty-one food companies on the top 500 list attained an average profit ratio of 6.08%, but COFCO’s profit ratio was merely 2.58%.
