Recent moves of livestock and feed enterprises in China

The Ministry of Finance has recently issued a notice, reducing livestock quarantine charge by 30%.

Zhejiang Rifa Holdings Group Co., Ltd. and the Sixth Division of Xinjiang State Farm have recently decided to invest RMB3 billion to set up in five years a slaughterhouse capable of 300,000 cattle and 3 million sheep a year.

Beijing Dabeinong Technology Group has signed an agreement with Mianyang City, Sichuan, to set up a feed mill capable of 120,000 MT a year.

Yurun Group plans to pour RMB530 million into Harbin City, Heilongjiang, to set up ten breeding farms each with an inventory of 2,000 heads of sows and boars and twenty hog farms each capable of 20,000 heads of commodity hogs a year.

Beidahuang Baoquanling Livestock Development Co., Ltd. plans to set up a broiler production base capable of 240 million birds a year.

New Hope Liuhe Co., Ltd. has recently kicked off in Fufeng County, Shanxi, a project capable of 300,000 MT feed and 2 million broilers a year, plus a slaughterhouse capable of 36 million broilers a year. The project, invested with RMB860 million, is scheduled to be completed in 2015.
