3000 dairy cattle from New Zealand are for 45-day quarantine in Lanshan of Shandong and they shall be transported to Modern Farming (Maanshan) for rearing after the quarantine. This is the first time for the company to introduce live cattle from Oceania and more import shall be seen. This may affect the domestic cattle herd structure and shall play a positive role in optimizing the dairy farming industry and fostering a sound consumption market.

Modern Farming denied on the 14th the rumor on acquisition by Mengniu.
