Shaanxi Apple Encountered Serious Frozen

Cold April caused cold injury to apple trees in blossom in Shaanxi Province. According to Shaanxi Bureau of Fruits, fruit trees in Yan’an, Baoji, Xianyang, Tongchuang, Weinan and Yulin encountered cold injury, covering 173,300 hectares.Analyzed by people in Shaanxi Bureau of Fruit, currently, it was hard to estimate the loss of the cold injury for 2013 apple output. Now, Shaanxi has conduct measure to resist the disaster to lower output loss.
