Meat Production in January ~ June

By CnAgri2013-09-05 11:28:53 Print According to the National Bureau of Statistics, China’s hog slaughter, pork production and hog ending inventory recorded 342.11 million heads, 26.14 million MT and 452.5 million heads respectively in the first half of this year, up 1.1%, up 1% but down 0.6% respectively on the year-on-year basis.
 
Pork, beef, mutton and poultry meat production added up to 39.16 million MT in the first half of this year, a drop of 0.2% on the year-on-year basis.
