Cottonseed meal and Rapeseed meal Prices Depend on Soymeal

With imbalance of fundamentals, cottonseed meal supply was tight. Besides, price increase of soymeal spot promoted cottonseed meal price to go up further more. It is predicted domestic cottonseed meal market shall keep strong in short terms. But once soymeal spot market sees great decline, the hit to cottonseed meal market also cannot be ignored.(Table 5)




Rapeseed meal：On June 5th, 2013, the average wholesale price of rapeseed meal is RMB2,780Yuan/MT, up 0.51% compared with last week. Rapeseed is listed intensively in Yangtze River areas and most processing enterprises are purchasing in full swing. Purchasing price of rapeseed is around RMB2.5-2.6/Jin in middle and lower reaches. Besides, as prices for soymeal and cottonseed meal increased, rapeseed crushing enterprises quoted high of rapeseed meal, which caused rapeseed meal price to go steady this week. But with supply increasing, rapeseed meal market shall remain under pressure. (Table 6)
