Both of fruits export and import of China in 2012 increased. 3,282,500 ton fruits were exported in 2012, up by 5.11% compared to last year, valuing $3.772 billion, up by 18.31%, and export price was $1,149 per ton, 12.55% higher than that of 2011.
 
In 2012, 3,304,900 ton fruits were imported to China, valuing $ 3.805, and import price was $1,151 per ton, growing by 2.15%, 25.45% and 22.82% respectively compared to that of 2011.
 
Major target countries of China exported fruits are Vietnam, Indonesia, Russia, Thailand and Malaysia. 1,881,600 ton China fruits were exported to these five countries in 2012, accounting for 57.32% of the gross exportation. Imported fruits to China are mainly from Vietnam, Thailand, Philippine, Burma and US America. 2,753,500 ton fruits are imported from the above-mentioned countries, covering 83.32% of the gross importation in 2012.
 
China fruits export & import trade concentrates in South Ease Asia and surrounding countries, and Vietnam is the biggest trade partner of China. In 2012, China exported 547,000 ton fruits to Vietnam and imported 954,900 ton from there, up by 6.71$ and 11.16% respectively compared to statistic of 2011.
