China Fertilizer Sales in Jan.~Oct. 2013

In Jan.-Oct. 2013, sales value and profit of fertilizer industry totaled 703.2 billion yuan and 25.6 billion yuan respectively, up 7.5% but down 29.3% respectively on the year-on-year basis. The decline rate slowed down compared with last month. Sales value of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium registered 237.27 billion yuan, 71.8 billion yuan and 19.4 billion yuan respectively, up 2.89%,5.58% and 1.37% respectively on year-on-year basis. The profit for nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium declined 65.54%, 32.06% and 42.67% respectively on year-on-year basis. Sales value of NPK saw rapid growth and the profit was also far higher than nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium.
