These days, the biggest challenge for cotton market analysts is not so much the fundamentals of supply and demand. It’s trying to figure out when, or if, the market pays any attention to them.

With this in mind, a team of analysts will discuss their perspectives on the cotton market in what has become a much anticipated annual event for cotton marketers, the Cotton Market Roundtable, to be broadcast July 27, 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m., Eastern time.

Cotton market experts O.A. Cleveland, professor emeritus, Mississippi State University, Carl Anderson, Extension specialist emeritus, Texas A&M University, Jarral Neeper, president of Calcot, Mike Stevens, cotton market analyst and special guest speaker Joe Nicosia, Allenberg Cotton Co., will discuss crop conditions, acreage and price forecasts, from New York City.

Listen live over the Internet at AgMarketNetwork.com, on KFLP 900 AM, Floydada, Texas and KZIP 1310 AM, Amarillo, Texas. Listeners can e-mail questions to the panel at patmc@agmidsouth.com. A recording of the event will be available around noon at AgMarketNetwork.com.

The Cotton Market Roundtable is sponsored by The Intercontinental Exchange, Cotton Incorporated, Certified FiberMax, Ag Market Network and Farm Press Publications.
