Chinese pesticide sales up 21.9% in nine-month 2012

Among which, growth of biological pesticide achieved 46.4%. Sales of pesticide grew by 25.6% to Yuan 19.43 billion in September and accumulative sales have grown 21.9% to Yuan 171.04 billion. Due to the higher domestic demand, fast growing market overseas, higher price of products, the profit of pesticide industry rose by 25.2% to Yuan 8,940 million in the first eight months, which showed that economic benefits had improved apparently.
