St?hler to be renamed "Cheminova Deutschland"
By CnAgri PrintStähler companies will be renamed “Cheminova Deutschland” by beginning of 2013. To rename the company is part of the concept to integrate and focus all activities of the former Stähler companies into the group of Cheminova A/S, Denmark.
In the coming years an improved supply of professional agriculture maintaines by new developed products is expexted. This will pursue the already realized growth of 2012 with existing product portfolio as well as based on new products.
Cheminova has acquired the Stähler group stepwise from 2008 to 2011 and has finally gained full ownership by July 1st, 2011. On January 1st, 2013 all activities of the Stähler group in Germany will be consolidated to the new Cheminova Deutschland GmbH & Co. KG.
With the Stähler group Cheminova has direct access to the No. 2 pesticide market in Europe.
Stähler has a deep market presence with a sales organization and a plant health specialist advice, which covers the whole of Germany. Stähler is offering own actives repectively actives gained by licence agreements from the past as Pethoxamide and Beflubutamide. The actives now are developed and marked by Cheminova organisations worldwide. Vice versa by pooling of all activities of Stähler with Cheminova and the complementary product portfolios Cheminova Deutschland will offer a broader spectrum of products in the future to German professional agriculture.
In Germany already crucial synergies have been archieved by the merger with Cheminova. That is e. g. increasing efficiency regarding the usage of available capacities in production, formulation or refilling on different production facilities including Stade. The integration of Stähler in the development activities of Cheminova has already led to the introduction of new products/activities in Germany 2012 (e. g. Terminus = Fluazinam). The enhanced possibilities will bring about a further strenghtening of the product programme of Cheminova Deutschland during the next years.
Cheminova Deutschland will continue to be managed from the headquarters in Stade, Lower Saxony by a management team led by GM Martin Petersen.
