The recommended National Standard on White Granulated Sugar GB/T 317-2018 was officially adopted on 1st September 2018. The new standard amended the index of SO2 from less or equal to “6mg/kg - 30mg/kg”as required in GB/T 317-2006 to less or equal to 0.1g/kg, i.e. 100mg/kg as required by GB 13104-2014. It should be pointed out that the National Food Safety Standard - Sugar (GB13104-2014) is a compulsory standard, it is only a health standard and the minimum standard, all relevant products must meet this standard. However White Granulated Sugar (GB/T 317-2018) is a recommended standard, it is a product quality standard, which quotes the compulsory standard.Recommended Reports »
