China’s prices of grain and industrial products rose, while that of agricultural products dropped in November.

Composite prices of grain: In November, the composite price of paddy, wheat, corn, sorghum, barley and soybeans stood at 3111yuan/ton, increasing by 3.11% month-on-month and 28.21% year-on-year. It’s the highest level after August, 2015, and grew by 32.0% from the lowest one.
The prices averaged 2746yuan/ton in the first eleven months, a growth of 13.86% year-on-year; that for the May-November period registered 2872yuan/ton, up 18.77% year-on-year.
 
Composite prices of three staple grain crops: The composite price of wheat, corn and paddy averaged 2638yuan/ton, increasing by 2.43% month-on-month and 17.27% year-on-year. It rose by 17.27% from the lowest level of this business cycle and fell by 2.82% from the peak of the previous cycle.
The prices reached 2408yuan/ton on average in the first eleven months, a growth of 6.81% year-on-year; that for the May-November period registered 2484yuan/ton, up 10.49% year-on-year.
