Linyi City, Shandong Province is China's wood products production and processing
cluster. On February 17, Feixian County Administrative Examination and Approval
Service Bureau announced 15 EIA projects for approval, six of which are furniture board
and plywood projects. Eleven EIA approval projects were publicized, all of which were
board projects, such as the 3 million square meters flooring project of Linyi City

Dongfang Jinxin Economic & Trade Co., Ltd., the 40,000 cubic meters plywood project of
Shandong Lufeng Chaoyang Wood Co., Ltd. and 34,000 cubic meters multilayer board
project of Feixian County Hongshengyuan Wood Processing Factory.
On February 22, a China-Russia timber freight train from Kansk, Russia arrived at the
international land port of Wuwei, Gansu province. There are 46 containers carrying white
pine board of 1526 square meters with import value of 930,000 yuan. Now the imported
board has been fully ordered by local dealers, mainly for processing composite board,
compression board and other new building materials.
On February 23, Sealand new route PH5(Russia-Southeast Asia line) made its maiden
voyage, with the rotation as follows: Vostochny of Russia - Busan - Dalian - Tianjin -
Qingdao - Hong Kong – Nansha - Hochiminh - Laem Chabang - Ningbo - Shanghai -
Qingdao - Busan. PH5 route stops at Nansha port of Guangzhou, which can provide a
good opportunity for Russian timber to reach Guangdong market in the future.
In 2019, Nine Dragons Paper, Lee & Man Paper and Shanying International are still the
three enterprises with biggest waste paper import quotas, respectively 31%, 14% and
13%, aggregately accounting for 58% of the total. While the other 64 paper companies
accounted for 42%. In 2018, the approved quota of the three enterprises accounted for
64%. Since 2018, the imported waste paper proportions of the three enterprises have
been declining but still significantly higher than the average level of other companies of
the industry.
 In 2019, Fenglin Group achieved a total revenue of RMB 1.944 billion, an increase of
21.69% over the previous year, and a total profit of RMB 169 million, an increase of
22.24% over the previous year.
In 2019, Piano achieved a total revenue of RMB 1.471 billion, an increase of 32.53%
over the previous year, and a total profit of RMB 176 million, an increase of 23.85% over
the previous year.
 In 2019, Suofeiya achieved a total revenue of RMB 7.727 billion, an increase of 5.69%
over the previous year, and a total profit of RMB 1.07 billion, an increase of 11.56% over
