Synthetic ammonium production in China in July

Synthetic ammonium production was 4.481 million MT in July, 2.2% less than the month before but 2.1% more than the same period of last year. Synthetic ammonium production totaled 31.441 million MT in January ~ July, a growth of 5.9% on the year-on-year basis.

Phosphorite production was 8.956 million MT in July, 7.6% less than the month before but 17.7% more than the same period of last year. Phosphorite production totaled 52 million MT in January ~ July, an increase of 15.6% on the year-on-year basis.

The productions of sulfuric acid, sulfur and pyrite recorded 6.411 million MT, 383,000 MT and 1.264 million MT respectively in July, all below the month before, but they were above the same period of last year by 7.1%, 18% and 2.8% respectively.
