Xifeng Farm of Heilongjiang Zhongxing Farming to Introduce Dairy Cattle in Late October

The scaled dairy farming and dairy processing project, invested by Zhongxing Faring Co., Ltd., saw kicking off of construction in the beginning of the year. 500 million yuan shall be invested in 2012 for the first phase: establishment of Xifengshan Farm, Erdaogou Farm and Handqi farm; and 150 million yuan shall be invested for a feed mill which shall be able to produce 700,000 tons concentrate feed for cattle per year. So far the construction has gone through half the process. All 16,000 dairy cattle shall settle at the farm in October. Meanwhile the company signed silage growing contract with farmers in Xifengshan, Erdaogou and Handaqi on 3000 hectares of land.
