Sugar Import and Export in July 2012 in China

In July 2012, China imported398,023tons sugar, up55.19% YOY. By the end of July, 2012, China imported1,842,540tons sugar, up137.13%YOY, In July the import was mainly raw sugar. The import of granulated sugar was44,572tons, and mainly from Korea, Rep.the import of row sugar was353,412tons, and mainly from Thailand , Brazil and Cuba.

China exported3,758tons of sugar in July,down16.49% YOY. By the end of July, 2012, China exported 31,071tons sugar, down22.66% YOY, in July, the export was mainly granulated sugar and other unlisted sugar. The export of unlisted sugar mainly went to Hong Kong, granulated sugar mainly went to Hong Kong.
