Wood export in Vietnam increased a lot during 1st half of 2012

According to Vietnam news agency, total forestry output value in Vietnam reaches 3800billion Vietnamese dong during the 1st half of 2012, which is newly released by Vietnam Forestry Ministry.
Officials from Vietnam Forestry Ministry says that, wood production and processing output increases 26% year on year with total amount of $2.319billion during the 1st half of 2012. By June, forestry under protection is about 1.38million hectares, forest regeneration area is about 0.198million hectares, new tree-planting area is about 54908 hectares.
