News Breiefs on China Grain Market This Week

2. Wheat seedlings are healthy in Shandong with the tillering number being 2 ~ 4. Wheat seedlings are in good condition in Henan. 

3. China had 111 large grain and vegoil markets in 2011 with a total trading value of RMB143.7 billion. 

4. Fine crop seeds were used in 96% of the fields in Jiangxi this year, the top level in history. 

5. Liaoning’s grain production is more than 20 billion kilograms this year, of which 14.35 billion kilograms are commodity grains. Of the total, 13.75 billion kilograms are corn and 5 billion kilograms are paddy. 

6. Gansu’s corn production is estimated to be 5.1 billion kilograms this year, 20% more than last year.
