NE Corn Price Far Lower Than Previous Level

By CnAgri2013-08-08 11:26:16 Print Corn：On Aug 7th, 2013, the average wholesale price of feed corn in main production areas is RMB2,435Yuan/MT, down 0.13% compared with last week. Shipments of giant grain merchants influenced sales and purchase in the market. Corn spot price was pressed to go down in NC, most SC areas and ports. Price for NE corn was also lower than ordinary level. Currently, domestic focus is on round out of state reserved corn. With consideration of purchase cost of state reserves and tight supply of quality corn, price for NE quality corn is still likely to rise. (Table 1)
