Beef Imports & Exports in January ~ July
By CnAgri2013-09-06 14:18:28 Print According to the customs, China’s frozen beef imports and exports registered 143,000 MT and 2,537 MT respectively in January ~ July, up 996% but down 63.2% respectively on the year-on-year basis.Beef import and export prices were $4,220/MT and $7,450/MT respectively, down 8.77% but up 15.68% respectively on the year-on-year basis.
As domestic beef production is predicted to decrease 10% this year from last year, beef imports are presumed to keep going up in the second half of this year but exports may keep shrinking.
