Doctor Xie Manhua from China Timber and Wood Products Circulation Association analyzed that logs cutting increased since mid August, when the humid climate ended and dry season came in north America. Therefore, woods increased in both markets and exports.  Woods imported from North America to China soared but the demand increased slowly since import price kept high. In domestic, however, the production decreased with weather getting colder in NE. But since it was traditional peak season for wood sale in China in August and September, wood price kept rising and growth rate of domestic wood was higher than imported wood.
