China Vegetable Price in Dec. 2013

　In Dec., the average price of Chinese cabbage, celery, spinach and cole was 2.13 yuan, down 6.83% MOM, up 20.88% YOY. The price of four vegetables was 0.93, 2.56, 2.84 and 2.20 yuan/kg respectively. The price of Chinese cabbage was down 11.95% MOM, the price of celery was down 13.57% MOM, the price of spinach was down 2.25% MOM, the price of cole was down 1.39% MOM. The price of Chinese cabbage was up 8.99% YOY, the price of celery was down 3.11% YOY, the price of spinach was down 28.40% YOY, the price of cole was down 33.99% YOY.

The average price of tomato, strings bean, cucumber, eggplant and pepper was 4.39 yuan/kg, up 3.00% MOM, and up 2.80% YOY. The price of the five vegetables was 4.08, 6.38, 3.54, 3.71 and 4.22 yuan/kg respectively. The price of tomato was down 10.67% MOM, the price of strings bean was up 13.67% MOM, the price of cucumber was down 2.33% MOM, the price of eggplant was up 9.73% MOM, the price of pepper was up 2.80% MOM. The price of tomato was up 22.62% YOY, the price of strings bean was down 6.46% YOY, the price of cucumber was down 10.31% YOY, the price of eggplant was down 1.38%YOY, the price of pepper was up 21.38% YOY.
