Fruit and Vegetable Consumption in 2012


In 2012, the per capita consumptions of dried and fresh fruits and vegetable of urban residents were 506.30 yuan and 591.97 yuan, up by 12.73 and 12.26% from the year 2011 respectively.
Beijing was ranked the top in term of fruit consumption, amounting to 772.88 yuan/per capita, while Tibet ranked the lowest as 315.56 yuan/per capita; Chongqing was ranked the top in term of vegetable consumption, amounting to 797.03 yuan/per capita, while Shanxi ranked the lowest as 383.69 yuan/per capita.
