Bio-pesticide projects continued to decline

In the first 10 months of 2013, industry investment hit 32.3b Yuan, up 9.8%, including 21.34b Yuan in chemical pesticide industry, up 20.1%, and 11b Yuan in bio-pesticide industry, down 5.9%.

Average investment amount per project was 69.85m Yuan, up 12.1%. It was 67.109m Yuan in chemical pesticide, up 12.9% over last year and 75.863m Yuan in bio-pesticide, up 12.9% over last year.

So far as the end of October, there were 463 projects under construction, down 2.1%, 316 newly started projects, up 1.9%, 205 has just finished construction, down 8.9% over last year. The construction of bio-pesticide showed a downtrend and went down by 16.7% over last year, and the amount of newly started projects went down by 10.5%, while that of construction-completed went down by 27.7%.
