Weak Lysine and Strong Methionine Market
By CnAgri2013-12-23 09:50:41 PrintOn Dec. 18th, 2013, the average wholesale price of domestically-produced lysine 98.5% and lysine 65% are RMB8810Yuan/MT and RMB4900Yuan/MT respectively, both the same with last week. No significant change was noted in domestic lysine market and it was still surplus. Therefore, domestic lysine market shall remain weak but space for price change is not large. (Table 9)
On Dec. 18th 2013, average wholesale price of domestic solid methionine and liquid methionine are RMB29200Yuan/MT and RMB20800Yuan/MT respectively, with the former up 0.52% and the latter the same with last week. Domestic methionine supply is still tight and price keeps increasing. It is predicted domestic methionine market shall remain strong and price is likely to go further up. (Table 10)
